What did Globelink require from us?
Globelink approached us to update their CRM from an older version due to problems that they were facing with it. Upon inspection of the code, we realised that the previous developers working on the system did not do a solid job.
It appeared as though they had rushed it and implemented poor coding techniques throughout the CRM, which when looking at the big picture, it seemed to work. However as soon as you went in, you realised that there were a host of bugs hidden under the layer.
Apart from the CRM, they wanted some extra functionality in on their site and a few upgrades to some WordPress modules that were outdated.
How did we accomplish this and what were the results?
First off, we tackled the issue of the buggy CRM code. However, we were lucky that not all was lost, and we were able to strip out the poorly designed sections of code, and implement it the way we do it. The right way.
Next up was adding the extra functionality. The site was built on WordPress, and after tinkering around a bit, we were able to add the extra functionality that they wanted, alongside updating the PHP version they had running.
Overall, from the CRM upgrade, the Sales representatives and staff are now able to actually use it without running into any bugs as any obstacles caused by it can waste precious company resources
The extra functionality results were more customer focused as they now could browse the site and find what they are looking for quicker, which means more of a chance that customer will buy what they're looking for, increasing the overall revenue of Globelink. The working CRM means that the employees can now go about their job with greater ease, increasing job satisfaction and reducing stress.
